Our kindergarten class created the following rules for our classroom:
Be Kind
Be Safe
Use Calm Voices
Share and Take Turns
Listen and Follow Directions
Do Your Best

We will be reminded of the rules when needed. If we need a 2nd reminder, it will be a warning we may have to take a break. The 3rd time, we will take a break. Next, we will have to lose playtime. If the rule breaking continues, we may have to call the principal or a child's parent. At anytime, we may have to use a calming strategy, such as deep breathing, or going for a short walk in the room to get a drink or to do something that calms us.
