Hello!
 
My name is Kirsten Shappell and I am the new K-5 Specific Learning Disability (SLD) teacher at Dover-Eyota Elementary.

I grew up in Byron and graduated from Minnesota State University - Mankato with a degree in K-12 special education. This is my fourth year teaching special education, I taught two years in high school and one year in elementary. 

I'm excited to be back in southeast MN and look forward to a great first year as a DE eagle!
